East Boston Neighborhood Health Center Teen Clinic

East Boston Neighborhood Center Teen Clinic is available to youth who have health concerns and questions. The Teen Clinic offers confidential appointments with a provider for pregnancy testing, contraception, STI testing and more. You do not need to be accompanied by an adult to attend the clinic. The mission of Fenway Health is to enhance the wellbeing of the LGBTQIA+ community and all people through access to the highest quality health care, education, research and advocacy.

  1. Sidney Borum, Jr. Health Center serves teens and young adults ages 12-29, and is a safe place for at-risk youth, including LGBTQIA+ young people, homeless teens and young adults, those struggling with substance abuse, involved with gangs or doing sex work.
  2. The Ansin Building offers full-service medical, behavioral health, dental and eye care.  A full-service pharmacy and a variety of services from HIV and STD testing to complementary therapies, LGBT parenting services, a Violence Recovery Program and women’s health and transgender health services are available.
  3. Fenway: South End offers medical and behavioral health care and has its own branch of the Fenway Pharmacy to make filling your prescriptions that much easier.

Sidney Borum Jr. Health Center provides free and confidential sexual health services. All birth control and emergency contraception except implants, the patch and nuvarings are available. However, it does make referrals for implants and nuvarings. Also, it offers free care, same day appointments, a trans-positive psychotherapy, gender counseling, and makes referrals to Fenway Transgender Youth Clinic. Identification is required to be seen. If seeking sexual health services, such as birth control or STI testing, you do not need to be an established patient at the clinic.
