Boston Medical Center’s Adolescent Center provides all birth control and emergency contraception and it is free even if you have private insurance. Also, it has same day appointments, a Child and Adolescent Transgender Center for Health, and a Teen & Tot program for expectant and parenting youth.

Collaborative initiative of the Boston Public Health Commission and the Boston Housing Authority that helps to secure and retain housing for housing insecure, high risk pregnant and/or parenting families with a child under the age of 5 years, who has a complex condition requiring specialty care. The program includes intensive case management, aimed housing retention, and participant engagement in services and interventions.

Residential program for pregnant and parenting teens and young adults who have been victims of abuse. Participants receive intensive education in parenting their young children, attend high school or GED classes, enroll in vocational or job skills training, and participate in nightly group meetings. Residents stay for 12-14 months.

A national program for young people in need of immediate help and safety. A young person can go to one of the locations if they are in a crisis or need a place to stay.

St. Mary’s Home welcomes young women between ages 13 to 21 years old at any stage in their pregnancy or postpartum. Residents live at St. Mary’s Home for approximately one year, where they learn parenting skills and increase their independent life skills, while also pursuing educational, vocational, and personal goals.

Upham’s Corner Health Center offers birth control options and emergency contraception. The clinic has free care options but a birth control implant require insurance. For birth control, pregnancy testing, and STI testing walk-ins are available at the urgent care walk-in clinic on the first floor. When visiting urgent care walk-in, you will need to register with the clinic.
To be guaranteed to be seen, please call ahead for an in-person appointment. In order to be seen for an appointment, you must be a patient at Upham’s Corner Health Center. The center is accepting new patients who do not have a PCP elsewhere.
Condom are available at the front of the clinic in brown bags as well as in every exam room.
Upham’s Corner offers HIV management support with access to PEP and PrEP.
